From the moment I set foot in K's Hostel, I was entranced. Referring to it as merely a 'hostel' does a great disservice to its outstanding quality. Perfectly poised on the riverbank, it's adjacent to the iconic Tokaikan Former Ryokan. This connection is evident as K's Hostel gracefully integrates historical elements - from authentic wooden fittings and majestic staircases to the splendidly spacious tatami mat bedrooms which whisk you back to a bygone era. The hospitality didn't stop at the gorgeous ambiance; we were gifted two complimentary laundry tokens—a rarity even in many 4-star hotels. Every entry was met with warm, welcoming smiles. And the onsen? It's a delightful indulgence. Imagine bathing in fresh hot spring water amidst pristine facilities; and even with a full house, I often found myself enjoying the onsen in solitude. I'm eager to explore more of what K's Hostel locations have to offer, given this exceptional experience. Highly recommended!

Atami Sekaie is set in Atami, 2.6 km from Atami Sun Beach, 25 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, as well as 35 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. Everything! The staff were so polite and welcoming. The welcome seating and drink while staff helped us check in was so pleasant, our own personal staff to show us to our room, the beautiful room with all the little details or amenities, our own traditional Yakuta to wear to meals, the private onsen and peaceful nature of the ocean view. Everything was amazing!!

Situated in Atami in the Shizuoka region with Atami Sun Beach nearby, SOKI ATAMI features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a sauna. It was a beautiful retreat that allowed you to unwind in a small coastal town. The traditional Japanese breakfast was wonderful and the onsen amenities were fantastic.

Set 9.1 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu offers 5-star accommodation in Izunokuni and has a garden. The staff was very attentive and friendly, food was top class.

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. The accommodation is just 1 minute from the coast, a very nice place. The host was very friendly and kind, the tatami room was comfortable and warm in winter. High recommendation

34 km from Shuzen-ji Temple in Higashiizu, Bousui offers accommodation with access to a sauna, hot spring bath and hot tub. The property has sea and quiet street views, and is 49 km from Mount Daruma.... Beautiful location. The young man looking after us and our room was absolutely amazing. The staff were very flexible about us needing to change the breakfast time. Highly recommend.

Boasting sea views, Migiwaya provides accommodation with balcony, around 7.3 km from Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival. This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle service. Everything was impeccable! Could not fault anything. Perfect place to stay to relax and unwind.

Featuring private open-air hot spring bath in all rooms, Isaribi is located in Hagashiizu, 2.7 km from Atagawa Hot Springs. A quiet and small place located near ocean, although building outside is old style but room renovated modern. Room has good view, you could see the sunrise too. Food is excellent, firstly was afraid breakfast would be the same as I stayed 2 nights, but found out was diffident and delicious. Hotel provided shuttle pick up from station. Staff is so nice. It was really a relaxed trip.

Beautiful little ryokan, staff speak great English and upgraded us to a beautiful room overlooking the river

Featuring mountain views, Watei Kazekomichi provides accommodation with balcony, around 2.1 km from Atami Sun Beach. Det var herlig å bli plukket opp på stasjonen, og det var en flott og vennlig mottakelse på hotellet. Rommet var veldig fint og rent, sengene og dynene var kjempebehagelige. Flott interiør på rommet, autentisk atmosfære. Særdeles kjekt med eget kildebad på rommet. God og omfattende japansk middag og frokost. Betjeningen er veldig hyggelig og imøtekommende.
